The official promo for the ODI World Cup 2023, which will start on October 5 in India, has been made available on all social media channels by the International Cricket Council.
In a 2 minutes and 13 second video made by ICC, the topic is “All it takes one day.” Shahrukh Khan’s voice is utilized to narrate the beautiful montage of memorable images from previous World Cup competitions.
The Pakistani left-arm bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi’s iconic World Cup 2019 wicket celebration is one of the images used in the trailer.
With the famous World Cup trophy in hand, the Bollywood actor makes an appearance at the close of the clip and declares, “For everything ever dreamed for, pushed for, or lived for, it takes, one day.”
Shaheen featured in the commercial, but Pakistani fans didn’t find it very funny since Babar Azam, their captain and the current top ODI batting, wasn’t there. Here are some of the Twitter comments made by fans.
