This year, the Lahore Education Authority has forbidden private schools from hosting summer camps or examinations. According to CEO Pervaiz Akhtar, committees have been formed at the tehsil and centre levels, consisting of three District Education Officers (DEOs), 12 deputy DEOs, and 50 Assistant Education Officers (AEOs).

These teams will make daily reports and ensure that the directions of the Punjab School Education Department are carried out as directed by the chief executive.
No tests shall be held over the holidays, according to Akhtar, and teams will monitor their allocated regions in Lahore to implement stern actions against any violations of guidelines.

Furthermore, for the length of the vacation time, Akhtar imposed a ban on all academic and non-academic activities in schools. He also noted that parents may file concerns with the CEO’s Education Office.
