LOS ANGELES, California (AFP) – Ivan Reitman, the acclaimed filmmaker and producer of “Ghostbusters,” “National Lampoon’s Animal House,” and “Twins,” has died at the age of 75.

“I’ve lost my idol,” Jason Reitman, director of “Juno” and “Ghostbusters: Afterlife,” tweeted on Monday.
