(Web Desk) – Noor Bukhari, a former film actress who has left the industry, has replied strongly to criticism over her unusual hijab style, claiming that it is a personal choice.
Bukhari received abuse on social media after posting photographs of herself wearing an unorthodox hijab design. Critics said that her outfit did not conform to conventional conceptions of hijab.
She answered her critics, underlining that no one has the authority to condemn her decisions. “Whether I wear a hijab, turban, or cover my head with a dupatta, it is entirely my decision,” she remarked in her Instagram story.
Bukhari also voiced her disdain of unwanted judgment, adding that her decision to cover her head is based on personal belief and does not require public confirmation.
