ISLAMABAD : Sundal Khattak’s bail request in the matter of the leaked pornographic recordings involving Hareem Shah was denied by the Islamabad Court. The accused has been detained by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). The court also rejected Khattak’s request that it instruct the FIA to file a lawsuit against Shah for allegedly defaming her on social media.
The TikTokers’ case was heard in court in Islamabad. Shah, the plaintiff, and Khattak, the defendant, both arrived in court with their respective solicitors. Following the parties’ arguments, Special Judge Central Azam Khan denied Khattak’s request for bail.
Shah’s videos were not made or leaked, according to Khattak. Additionally, she claimed that Shah had been defaming her on social media and that she had been getting threats against her life and an acid assault, pleading for protection. The court instructed her to submit a request to the neighbourhood police department under whose authority she was threatened.
Shah had made a statement in March after the internet’s popularity of her personal videos. She said in a video that the ladies she regarded as friends were the ones who ‘leaked’ the footage. Shah said that Khattak and Ayesha Naz, her housemates for a while, were responsible for the viral recordings. We used to spend a lot of time together since we formerly shared a home. They obviously got access to my phone and knew my passwords as a result, Shah said in the video.
She further said that she had complained about Naz to the Federal Investigation Agency. “FIA took no action against her, but I had my suspicions. “Ayesha had also told my other friends that she would leak my videos,” Shah stated, adding, “But I don’t really care about these videos.”
