(Web Desk) – Britney Spears, an American pop diva, said that she miscarried early in her pregnancy.
Spears confirmed the loss in a joint Instagram post with her partner, Sam Asghari, on Saturday. In April, the pop artist announced that she was expecting a child with Asghari after gaining her freedom from a judicial conservatorship that had ruled over her life for more than a decade.
“It is with great grief that we must inform you that our miraculous baby died early in the pregnancy.” “Any parent would be devastated at this time,” the message stated. “Perhaps we should have waited until we were farther along before announcing; yet, we were overjoyed to share the wonderful news.”
“Our strength is our love for one other,” the message stated. “We’ll keep striving to grow our wonderful family.”
Spears, 40, has expressed her desire for a child with Asghari, 28, a personal trainer, but has also stated that her almost 14-year conservatorship, which ended last year, obliged her to continue on birth control.
In 2016, they met on the shoot of her Slumber Party video.
With ex-husband Kevin Federline, Spears has two boys.
