The Basant celebration will take place at Liberty Chowk on February 7th, according to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
CM Maryam asked the people of Lahore and Punjab to join them in celebrating Basant at Liberty Chowk in a social media post. According to her, Basant is a celebration of the joy, culture, and colors of Punjab. In relation to Basant, the chief minister of Punjab also released the song “Guddi Lahore Di Uddi.”
Earlier, Marriyum Aurangzeb, the Punjab Senior Minister, interacted with store owners at Mochi Gate in Lahore. The Punjab administration has finished preparing for a secure Basant, according to Maryam Aurangzeb. There will be free transportation available for the three days of the Basant festival. She noted that when celebrating Basant, citizens have a need to adhere to SOPs.
