On Wednesday, Pakistan’s Election Commission rejected the PTI’s appeal against defections from the National Assembly.

Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja read the decision, which had been reserved by the electoral commission’s three-member panel.

“No relevant evidence was given against defecting members in the reference,” according to the judgement.
