The shocking results of the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) annual examinations have exposed the dire state of Sindh’s educational system.

On Saturday, the board’s official Facebook account revealed the surprising findings, revealing that not a single student from Karachi’s 25 government colleges or its 13 private colleges managed to pass the yearly intermediate examination.

The board also revoked the recognition certificates for these colleges for such a poor performance.
These colleges’ low enrollment rates drew criticism for their principals as well.

In related news, the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part-II second annual examination results for the academic year 2021–2022 were released earlier this month by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE).

For the HSSC Part-II exam, the overall pass percentage was 73.99 percent. FBISE Chairman Qaiser Alam thanked the successful students at the result release event.
