After botched plastic surgery, an Indian actor dies at the age of 21

Chethana Raj, an Indian television star, died in a private hospital in Bengaluru after a botched fat-removal procedure.

According to reports, Chethana Raj, 21, got cosmetic surgery to remove excess fat at a private hospital in Bengaluru’s Rajajinagar neighbourhood. The deceased’s family has accused ‘Dr. Shetty’s Cosmetic Centre’ – where she had the treatment – of negligence as the reason of her death.

“He is my younger brother’s daughter, and she was appearing in Kannada TV serials,” an uncle of Chethana told a local news source. Someone had advised her to lose weight because she appeared to be overweight.”
