LAHORE — On Friday, Indian police prevented Gippy Grewal, a well-known singer and actor, from entering Pakistan at the Wagah border.
The Pakistani hosts had set a schedule for the Indian artist’s arrival and reception this morning.
The Punjabi cinema actor was detained at the Wagah border due to a lack of permission from higher officials, according to information.
It’s worth noting that a group led by the Indian actor had previously visited Nankana Sahib, where he was born.
He had expressed pleasure with the security procedures and the exercise of religious freedom upon his arrival.
He went on to say that by establishing the Kartarpur corridor, Prime Minister Imran Khan had won the hearts of the Sikh people.
