On Sunday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was alerted of a fire in the Margalla Hills and directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and other officials to put it out as quickly as feasible.

Shehbaz Sharif also directed that immediate fire safety measures be implemented.

The Prime Minister also requested that the relevant institutions seek assistance from disaster management authorities and implement effective animal and tree protection measures.
