The reemergence of a polio virus case in the nation after a 15-month absence has alarmed Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

After seeking a report from the appropriate authorities, the Prime Minister directed the establishment of a strategy to eradicate the deadly disease from the country.

The Prime Minister called a meeting of the National Task Force for Polio Eradication on Monday.
